AF Protection Limited has been awarded the contract to install passive fire protection systems to the structural steel frame of the new Atlantic House Hotel in New Polzeath Cornwall. The £4 million project will house a mixture of luxurious apartments, hotel rooms and a bar & bistro, all being built on the former foundations of the famous "Doom Bar", and all looking out onto the magnificent North Cornwall coast. To complete the project, AF Protection will be using both intumescent spraying to structural steel beams, and a fireboard cladding system installed to the vertical columns throughout the four floors of the building.
