BAM Construction has begun the construction of its three phase plan to build a new £18 million academy at Ilfracombe in North Devon. The construction plan will see the erection of a new sports hall and a 1,250-student school, followed by the demolition of the current school building.
AF Protection Limited has been awarded the contract to protect the structural steels of these new facilities as they are constructed. The first phase has got underway with structural steels of the sports hall having already been erected. AF Protection operatives are now on-site applying an intumescent coating system by method of spraying.
